LIFE IS A GAME

so it's all your own choice

This page is nothing special. These are all common ideas and opinions. They have no relationship with panoramic sensing.

Over the ages philosophers and poets have told us that life is an illusion, just a game, a delusion, dream or play. These are all fine examples of abstract thought which is devoid of any

awareness.

Talented people are often good at displaying. But they haven't realised that animals aren't playing a game. Animals often get eaten alive. Life's not an illusion or a dream, it's frightening – animals have to be still and silent and use their panaral senses to be safe and survive.

If we could all act and believe in our act – if we all got the same confirmation as these few specially talented writers, actors, leaders, poets, and musicians – if we could all believe in the display we were making and get the social recognition and financial rewards of a successful star, life would work out fine.

Life is only a game for the privileged and talented few, usually with good backgrounds, special education to encourage their talents, and no mortgages to pay off. They live in ivory towers, c/o cloud cuckoo land.

Fortunate or talented people have a special feeling of confirmation and confidence. Most are practised and good at some form of display. Such were the Hindu scribes who first proclaimed life is an illusion. They had the magical almost divine ability to write in an illiterate world.

Anyone who maintains life is a play, a dream, or an illusion, has never experienced panaral reality. They have never realised how their own senses have deceived them into a one-sided focused perspective.

Modern human play is often display and not something we should celebrate, it's largely a symptom of insecurity.

All your own choice

What you do in life is "all your own choice" comes from the same philosophers as life is a game.

It's true that there are multiple choices in the modern world, but most people are limited by opportunity, and just the necessities of life.

For rich or talented people, free of 40 hour weeks, rush hour traffic, kids to clothe and feed, etc., life is their own choice. Talented and rich people have special options even in countries stricken by famine or war.

Illusions and Dreams

Those who say life is an illusion or a dream, are only looking at the abstract reality in their own heads. Abstract ideas like 'you are created by thought' take no account of panaral reality.

Such ideas are tragic delusions and the world would be a better place if such people lived through winter begging without a tent.

Over the ages philosophers and poets have proclaimed that life is an illusion and we have to learn to play the game.

It was first written in the Hindu philosophy of Maya. Maya is interpreted in different ways, but the most simplistic straightforward idea is that our material physical life including pain and suffering is an illusion. The real life is spiritual.

Life is like a play: it's not the length, but the excellence of the acting that matters. (Seneca ca. 4 BC – AD 65)

All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages (Shakespeare).

In 1968 The Incredible String Band told us again about 'Maya' : “All this world is but a play, Be thou the joyful player”.
